Thanks to the generosity of our community, Hands
On is the premier provider of interactive art and science education in the
South Sound! We are a private, non-profit organization with no regular
government support. To meet our operating budget, we must raise nearly $400,000
each year from individuals, local businesses, corporations and foundations.

You can support Museum Exhibits and Programs in the following ways:
- Outright Gifts
Outright gifts of cash, stock, securities and in-kind materials will
support everything we do. With a donation of $1,000 or more, you can join our Leadership
Circle (see below for more information).
- Washington State Combined Fund Drive
Do you work for the State? You can designate Hands On to receive all or a portion of your Combined Fund Drive
donations. It's easy -- and it means so much! Watch for information on the Combined Fund Drive each fall.
- Event Sponsorships
Be a corporate or individual sponsor of a Museum event. For our signature event,
Sand in The City, you can be an event sponsor or a sand-building team sponsor.
- Exhibit Sponsorships
Sponsor an exhibit, and we'll put your name in front of 100,000 visitors each year. Exhibit
sponsorships range from $1,500 to $40,000.
- Program Sponsorships
The Museum has dozens of educational programs to match your giving interests,
including Artist-in-Residence, Field Trips, Early Learning, Outreach and
Volunteers.
- Free & Reduced Admissions Sponsorships
Each year the Museum serves more than 13,000 kids and their families with free
and reduced admissions. This program alone costs the Museum $50,000. Help us
keep the doors open to all kids regardless of their ability to pay.
- Join the Families Helping Families Club
For just $500, you can join the Museum, receive the highest level of benefits, and support an annual membership for two
families in need. You'll be recognized as both a Member and Donor of Hands On.
- Donate Items on the Museum Wish List
Help the Museum check off items from its Wish List!

At Hands On, every day is a day of exploration, creativity and adventure -- but
only because people like you make it happen. When you join the Leadership
Circle, you become part of a special group of leaders who believe in the value
of learning through play. You share the vision that our community deserves
region-wide recognition for this cultural attraction where families can learn
and play together. In addition to the sense of pride gained in contributing to the
Museum's future success, Leadership Circle members are eligible for
exclusive benefits.
