When will the new Museum open?
The target grand opening is Fall of 2011.
Where on East Bay is the new location?
On Marine Drive just west of East Bay. View a map of the area.
How big will the new facility be?
More than double the current space at 27,000 sq/ft of Museum Exhibits and nearly 30,000 sq/ft in the Outdoor Learning Center.
Will there be parking?
The new Museum will have a dedicated parking lot behind the building!
Will there be more exhibits geared toward older kids?
Yes! We are excited to offer the new Outdoor Learning Center, Inventors Studio, and an expanded Art Studio.
Will there be lockers for coats, purses and diaper bags?
Yes! There will be a coat room, complete with lockers for securing your purses and bags while you play at the Museum.
What kind of security will the new Museum feature?
The entire Museum experience will be designed with your child's safety in mind as you learn and play together.
