Take advantage of this four workshop series of science and art topics taught by our museum educators.  Includes daily museum exploration.

For homeschool or ANY students ages 6-10 (must be 6 by Sept. 1st of current school year).

June 11th:  Static Electricity -- Explore this invisible force using static tubes and a circuit ball.  Generate your own static electricity and use it to move a ball without touching it.

June 18th:  Botany & Biology -- Create a leaf model and scratch the surface to discover a leaf's true colors.  Make a Nest Depot where birds can "shop" for nesting supplies.  Explore nature's symmetrical patterns as you dye a butterfly wing.

June 25th:  Rocket Technology & Inquiry -- Make a soft foam elasto-rocket you can launch by hand.  Build and launch a pneumatic rocket and vary the wing design and launch angle to influence it's flight pattern.  Explode a towering fountain of soda!
