Volunteering is a great way to learn more about the Museum and get an inside track for future employment! The Museum has a wide range of volunteer positions available. We are currently recruiting for regular volunteer staff for the following positions:
- Activity Assistant
- Art Studio Volunteer
- Day Camp Teen Assistant
- Museum Program Assistant
- Office/Clerical Volunteer
- Prep Volunteer
- Preschool Assistant
- Special Event Volunteer
- Special Skills Volunteers: Face Painters, Musicians, Clowns, etc.
- Student Internships in Development, Public Relations, Marketing, Education, etc.
- Summer Camp Volunteers
- Workshop/Field Trip Assistant

How to Get Started!
To apply to become a Hands On Children's Museum Volunteer please complete the Volunteer Application and mail it to the Museum at:

Once your application is received and processed you will be contacted by the Volunteer Coordinator to discuss your interest in volunteering and to set up an interview as required.
Please remember that volunteer placement is a selective process and not all applicants may be accepted into the program. The Museum reserves the right to place volunteers in the area staff feels is best suited to the applicant's skills and theneeds of the Musuem.
