Thank You for a Summer Filled with Fun & Learning!

Hands On was filled with engaging, exciting learning opportunities all summer long thanks to the support of many community sponsors who funded travelling exhibits, special activities, themed adventures, animals and guest performers!

With the opening of our national travelling exhibit Children's China, visitors were treated to a summer of cultural experiences and daily dragon parades. Each month new themes emerged and we celebrated sand sculpting, fort building, rock climbing, pirate adventures, free flight parrot shows, magic demonstrations, juggling, dance and music! In addition, we extended Free Friday hours and added new Pay What You Can days.

Thanks to our sponsors and our Gala donors, the museum raised critical funds for our Free & Reduced Admission Programs and Raise the Paddle donors raised the funding to build a new Treehouse exhibit in 2017.

Thank you for supporting inspired learning!
