Arts & Parts Studio
Busy hands of all ages can choose from a huge assortment of new and recycled art supplies to create their own works of art. The MakeSpace adds cool tools like glue guns, electric scissors and sewing machines to the mix!
Use our popular builder boards to build your own home! Create a sky-high Keva structure and operate the yellow dump truck.
Be a real-world hero! Drive the Olympia Police Car, Airlift NW Helicopter, Fire Engine, or Medic One Van. Work in the Providence St. Peter Emergency Room and Seattle Children's Hospital Baby Nursery. Be sure to check out the Shadow Room & giant Light Bright!
Enter and explore a nurse log, climb up into the Tree House and make fancy flying machines at the Woodland Wind Tunnel. Tell stories around the campfire at the family campsite. Put on a play on the Forest Stage. Visit the Longhouse for seasonal activities. Moms will enjoy the quiet Nursing Mother's Nook.

From farm to table, young visitors can role-play in the Colorful Plate Pizzeria, Under the Umbrella Ice Cream & Gelato, and Healthy Home growing, picking, cooking, and serving colorful foods.
It's a huge Water Tower with viewing glasses to spy on downtown Olympia. Send scarves and yarn balls through a 25-foot Airways Maze! Build and launch paper rockets at the Rocket Launcher.
Outdoor Discovery Center
This unique half-acre outdoor space encourages unstructured play and includes the Lighthouse Lookout, Puget Sound Beach, Megan D Schooner, Hike-and-Trike Loop, Children's Garden, Naturalist Cabin, and Gravel Dig.
Our Puget Sound
Captain a two-story cargo ship and then explore Puget Sound sea life up close as you crawl through the hull. Float your own boat, experiment with an 8-ft Ballcano Vortex, and examine specimens at the Puget Sound Science Table.
Explore soft and safe exhibits like the Oyster Shell, Baby Beach and the Nest Climber. Or experience tactile play with the Dino Activity Boat, the Light Table, the Salmon Maze and the Paint Wall.
