Hours and Admissions

Visit Us! Online Reservations Required

Families can enjoy timed play sessions of exploration and fun! There will be several visit times each day. Capacity is limited. Online registration required.

Face coverings are mandated in Washington state for all visitors ages 5 and up and are strongly encouraged for children ages 3 & 4. Face shields must include drapes. Open mesh masks are not allowed. Face coverings must cover nose and mouth at all times. To learn more about our face-covering requirements and other visitor information, read important information about your visit

We continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and will respond as directed by our Governor and the Department of Health. Any changes to operating hours will be posted on our website. We recommend checking the current operating status on the day of your scheduled visit.

Sessions have limited capacity and typically fill up days in advance. Please be kind and reserve no more than one play session per day. Should you need to cancel your reservation, please notify us as soon as possible to free up space for other families to enjoy the Museum.

Museums For All Initiative
We are proud to participate in the Institute of Museum & Library Service's national Museums for All initiative to make the rich learning environments of museums accessible to all children and families. This special discounted rate is available to families receiving food assistance, as identified by showing an EBT card.

Thanks to our partnership with WSECU we have received our national Museums for All designation, allowing the museum to expand its mobile educational programs, increase subsidized field trips for schools serving low-income student populations, and offer free & reduced admission to any family receiving state basic food assistance through a Washington state electronic benefits transfer (EBT) card.

Supervised Visits
If you attend the Museum on a supervised visit, family members and supervisor should identify themselves at the front desk as here for a supervised visit. All adults and children that are part of the visit, including the supervisor, will be admitted at no charge. Call the front desk to register for a timed admission session (360) 956-0818 ext. 0.

For qualified families who want the benefits of an Annual Membership, we offer an Access Membership Program. Access Membership includes unlimited admission, discounts on camps and classes, and a 10% discount in the Museum Café and store, for $25 per year.
