Book Your Next Daytime or After-Hours Party at Hands On

The Hands On Children’s Museum is the perfect place to celebrate birthdays, baby showers, and after-hours events. Make treasured memories and entertain guests of all ages at the South Sound's favorite family destination!

We recommend booking well in advance to get the date and time you want. Call Reservations at (360) 956-0818 ext. 103 for questions or to reserve your party.

Daytime Party Package Includes
  • 1.5 hours in party space (indoor or outdoor)
  • Play in the museum galleries for the day
  • Small party up to 30 people
  • Large party up to 50 people
  • Unique gift bag for the birthday child
  • VIP parking and entrance for the host family
  • Digital template for birthday invitations
  • 15 minutes of setup time prior to the party

You Provide

  • Cake or cupcakes
  • Party food if desired
  • Disposable paper products

Daytime Party Pricing

  • Small Party (up to 30 people): Members ($295), Non-Members ($325)
  • Large Party (up to 50 people): Members ($495), Non-Members ($555)

Daytime Party Times
Host access 15 minutes prior to the start times below.

  • Saturdays: 9:30-11:00 am, 12:00-1:30 pm, 2:30-4:00 pm
  • Sundays: 10:30 am – 12:00 pm, 1:30-3:00 pm

Deposit Required

A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to reserve your daytime party. The balance is due at least 10 days prior to your party date.

Credit Card Payment
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.

Reschedule and Cancellation Policy

Parties may be rescheduled at no extra cost with at least 72 hours notice depending on availability.

If you need to cancel, any amount paid over the non-refundable deposit will be refunded when you cancel at least 72 hours prior to the event date. Refunds are not permitted for cancelations of less than 72 hours. Exceptions to the 72-hour notice requirement may be considered for a COVID-related emergency.

Book a Private Party After Hours

Get everything included in the daytime party package and enjoy private use of the Museum with up to 80 people.

Pricing

  • Members ($650), Non-Members ($695)
  • Additional 1/2 hour $80
  • Additional hour $160
  • Outdoor Discovery Center $150
