Strengthen your role as your child's first teacher while receiving resources and information about how PLAY is connected to your child’s development and academics. Join our own experienced HOCM early learning professional Kitty WInkle in Snug Harbor Classroom every Friday morning for this drop-in program of songs, story and simple activities. No registration required!

Children and parents or caregivers spend the first 40 minutes exploring an early learning preschool classroom with opportunities in free choice activities, such as playdough, blocks, sensory activities or art, along with a thematic project. For those children who might need some time to warm up, we have cozy spaces, books, puzzles and toys to help get comfortable. Families clean up together before we gather for the last 15 minutes for circle time with songs and a story. Teacher Kitty gives a special hand stamp and good-bye to each child. PlayWise program is best suited to children aged 5 and under and their caregivers.

September-May: Fridays, 9:30-10:30 a.m. & 11:00 a.m. - 12 p.m., First Friday Night: 5:30-8 p.m.
